Inspiring change through example
The mission of 447Outreach is to empower individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction, abuse, and grief by providing compassionate support and healthy lifestyle choices through biblical and practical principles. The counseling and assistance that are extended come from personal life experience and a passion to inspire victory in recovery through example. We strive to build communities that foster both healing and rehabilitative sustainable behaviors, so individuals are no longer a danger to themselves or others.
Specializing in substance/nonsubstance abuse treatment
Our focus at 447Outreach specifically addresses addiction to legal and illegal/schedule 1 drugs, sexual assault, domestic violence and grief.
Change is possible
The heart of 447Outreach is the personal history and victory of its cofounders, Marcus and Vanessa Patterson. Though Marcus walked a journey of crack addiction for 26 years, he is now celebrating 9 years clean on June 25, 2024. Vanessa experienced episodes of domestic violence, sexual abuse and rapes, starting in early childhood and continuing beyond the age of 50, but now walks in freedom from shame, victimization and trauma. Both of the Pattersons, like so many others, have suffered the loss of those closest to them through illness and tragedy. Yet they live in joy, comfort, and peace, provided through the strength and empowerment found in a personal relationship with the Lord. Their inspiration for change comes from a desire to be an example of victory over addiction, abuse and grief.
Recovery is a choice. Won't you allow us at 447Outreach to lead you to steps of recovery?
Time for a new beginning
Individuals walking into 447Outreach are met with love, an understanding filled with grace and are in a safe place with no condemnation. We will extend an offer to find freedom, through recovery, by helping them discover what they desire most and aid them in envisioning a healthy and happy future, along with the resources needed to get them there.
Commitment to change is something that we would want each person to define for themselves. The choice is always up to the person in need; however, they can rest assured that they are not alone, and they have someone to walk this difficult path with them.
